Maine Women: Living on the Land has been a catalyst for bringing a new audience to the museum. Visitors from all walks of life identify with its message of community. While the women profiled in the exhibition all live in Maine, the subject of the exhibition addresses this universal concept of community and our search for connections beyond ourselves.
